Reviving Classic Clock
Movements
Our Story
Domestic clocks, first introduced in the 1500s, were historically symbols of wealth and status. Designed to align with contemporary aesthetics, they occupied prominent positions in homes and were valued as both functional and decorative pieces. Over time, as clocks became more affordable, their designs continued to reflect current fashions. However, with the rise of quartz timekeeping, mechanical clocks lost their status as centerpiece items, becoming more utilitarian and often relegated to secondary roles in household decor.
Our mission is to transform the perception of mechanical clocks from outdated timekeeping devices into artistic, kinetic centerpieces which enhance modern interior spaces.
We revive classic clock movements which served as the bed rock of domestic timekeeping for generations by housing them a new and exciting context.
With training in traditional clock making and modern conservation, and experience in modern fabrication methods just as laser cutting we are on a journey to produce a broad range of designer clocks which integrate in the contemporary modern context.
